You sign in with Google. Google's sign-in can offer your name, email address and profile picture, but we read and keep only your email address — we never see or store your Google password.
We collect information about how you use the Service, including the YouTube links you add, the questions you ask, and which features you use, so we can provide and improve the Service and enforce plan limits.
When you add a video, we retrieve its publicly available metadata (title, channel, thumbnail, duration) and its transcript (from YouTube's own captions, or generated for you on eligible plans). We do not download or store the video itself.
If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is handled by a third-party payment processor. We do not store your full card number or bank details on our own servers.
We use a small number of essential cookies, mainly to keep you signed in securely. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
To generate summaries, chapters, FAQs, and answers, video transcripts and your questions are sent to third-party AI service providers for processing. If a video has no captions, its audio may be sent to a third-party transcription service instead, on plans that support this. We do not use your data to train any AI model.

We keep your account and library data for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual videos, or your entire account, at any time — deleting your account permanently removes your personal data from our systems, except where we're required to keep it by law.
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) for everything sent to and from the Service. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at the email below.
ClipQuery is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We'll post the updated Policy here with a new "Last updated" date.
