ClipQuery is a web app (clipquery.com) that lets you ask questions about YouTube videos: it answers from what is actually said, shows the exact moment, and can compare what several videos say in one table. The Basic plan is free forever with no card, and ClipQuery shows no ads.
Without any tool: watch the video and draw the map by hand, or write the topics down as you go and sort them afterwards. It takes about as long as the video, and you can miss a part.
For example, a 24-minute video about finding a business idea with AI became a map with seven main branches, one for each part of the method. Each branch opens into the details that were said, with time marks.
It works best for lectures, tutorials, podcasts, interviews, recipes and reviews. It is not made for movie scenes, music videos, games being played or very short clips: for those ClipQuery says plainly that the video does not suit a mind map, and the answer is not counted. The map is built from the transcript, so check anything important against the video. You sign in with Google; ClipQuery keeps only your email address.

Videos that explain or discuss several topics: lectures, tutorials, podcasts, interviews, recipes and reviews.
ClipQuery says the video does not suit a mind map and points you to the Summary or Chapters. That answer does not use one of your lenses.
Yes. Press PDF for a landscape page on white paper, or Copy for an indented outline you can paste anywhere.
The Mind map is one of the lenses: Basic includes 3 lenses a month, Pro 30, and Beast has no limit.
The Basic plan is free forever with no card, and ClipQuery shows no ads. Pro is $9 a month and Beast is $45 a month, each billed once for the period with no automatic renewal.
Made with gratitude for creators. Every video in ClipQuery plays in YouTube's own player, so you still watch the creator's real video, and every answer links back to the exact moment in it. ClipQuery helps you find what to watch, not replace it.
