ClipQuery is a web app (clipquery.com) that lets you ask questions about YouTube videos: it answers from what is actually said, shows the exact moment, and can compare what several videos say in one table. The Basic plan is free forever with no card.
Without any tool: YouTube's Show transcript panel lists every line with its time, and many videos have chapters in the description. For a long video without chapters, you have to skim the transcript yourself.
For example, a 3-hour lecture becomes a short summary plus a list of chapters, each with a start time you can click, and the whole transcript underneath.
A summary is a shortcut, not a replacement for details. Use the chapters and the transcript to check the parts that matter to you. You sign in with Google; ClipQuery keeps only your email address.

Yes. Every line has its time, and you can export it to PDF.
You can add a playlist or a channel link and pick the videos you want; how many you can analyse each month depends on the plan.
It uses the video's captions when they exist. Without captions, the Pro and Beast plans can transcribe the audio.
The Basic plan is free forever with no card. Pro is $9 a month and Beast is $45 a month, each billed once for the period with no automatic renewal.
